Leonie Kuipers and Bernardo Zanotta are the new residents at ZSenne ArtLab 25/05 > 29/05/2022

We warmly invite you to a work-in-progress presentation at ZSenne art lab, Brussels. 

 

Leonie Kuipers and Bernardo Zanotta will share the first results of their collaborative research that focuses on espionage methodologies for the study of performance. 

The two artists have explored different technologies of espionage, such as situational awareness – the perception of environmental elements and events with respect to their time and space.

 

Zsenne art lab will be open on:

Saturday 28th of May  (12:00 – 17:00)

Sunday 29th of May (12:00 – 16:00)

 

Bernardo Zanotta (1996, Brazil) is a filmmaker and visual artist based between Amsterdam and Paris. His projects span disciplines, ranging from film to audiovisual installations. His films have been screened internationally at various festivals, including Locarno, Rotterdam, and Queer Lisboa. He earned his BA degree in Moving Image from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2018.

 

Leonie Kuipers is a visual artist with a background in contemporary dance. In her practice she is working with acts of watching and strategies of secretiveness. She studied at Codarts, A-pass and the Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam).
