Karen Vermeren (Gent °1982, lives and works in Brussels) searched for a visual relation between the Stone Mountain location,a pink granite rock in Georgia (USA) and the different floors in the ZSenne space.
She uses different materials like tape, paint and plastics which she applies directly on the walls. An in invisible feature of ZSenne is the river Zenne – la Senne, which flows under Brussels. She compares Brussels with a granite mountain covering this river.
