Carne is het innemen door 9 kunstenaars, vrouwen, van 1 site, 3 ruimtes. Ze werden uitgenodigd omdat het lichaam centraal staat in hun werk, en wegens hun talent om een tactiele dimensie aan het visuele en het auditieve te geven en wegens de veelheid van hun praktijken met het medium lichaam. Carne biedt u de somatische ervaring van een versmelting tussen hun artistieke creaties, in resonantie met een bepaalde context.
Carne is the take-up of 1 site, 3 locations, by 9 women artists. Rather than activating a de- bate on the position of the woman as artist, they have all been invited as the body is central in their work. Through this same medium and a plurality of thechnics, their ability to give a tactile dimension to the eye or ear is the com- mon ground that gathered them for this resi- dency. Carne is a somatic experience of a shift between the produced artworks within a given context.
Carne est la mise à disposition d’1 site, de 3 lieux, investis par 9 artistes, des femmes. Plutôt que d’activer un débat autour du statut de la femme artiste, l’invitation leur été faite car le corps est central dans leur travail. À travers ce même médium et la pluralité des techniques, leur habileté à donner une dimension tactile à l’oeil ou à l’oreille les rassemble lors de cette résidence. Carne propose l’expérience somatique d’un glissement entre les œuvres artistiques produites en résonance à un contexte donné.
